James joined Portfolio Advisors in 2016 and is a member of the firm’s co-investment and credit teams. Prior to joining Portfolio Advisors, he was an investment professional at The Blackstone Group on the Blackstone Strategic Opportunity Fund. Prior to joining Blackstone, James was an Analyst in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group at Peter J. Solomon Company, working on a variety of leveraged buyout, merger, recapitalization, and restructuring transactions.
